Marcella “Marcy” De Veaux, PhD is a tenured Associate Professor for the Department of Journalism at California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and a Depth Psychologist. Her research provides rare and unfiltered oral narratives of displacement, dislocation, and migration among African Americans who migrated from the Carolinas into New England during The Great Migration.

Currently, Dr. De Veaux is developing workshops examining unconscious bias in the workplace.
