Kimberly L. Howell, MBA, PhD is a body image activist, personal and professional development consultant, author, and university educator.

 

Dr. Howell is a graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she received both her PhD and MA in depth psychology. Dr. Howell also obtained her MBA in management and organizational behavior from California Lutheran University, where she has also instructed business and psychology courses.

Her doctoral dissertation, titled Peek-A-Boo! I See You: Capturing the Story and Image of Invisible Beauty in Los Angeles, highlights the celebrity culture of Los Angeles and how place affects both psyche and soma.

She has spoken and published work on topics including: feminist consumerism, leadership in diversity and inclusion, and supporting marginalized communities.
